A Little Intro

I am Andrea (aka "The Wifey") and am married to my best friend and love of my life.  My husband (aka "The Hubby") just recently left at the beginning of the month to begin basic training with the United States Army.  He just completed his third week of training, and we have both come to find that being away from each other is more difficult than we had expected.  We originally started off our relationship years ago doing the long distance thing while he temporarily lived four hours away from me, so we knew distance wouldn't be an issue.  Little did we know how important talking to each other every day is to both of us until we no longer had the option to do so.  He and I tell each other everything and have always been good at communicating with each other, and to go from spending every waking moment together for the last two weeks before he shipped off to going days or weeks at a time without so much as just hearing the other person's voice has been difficult.  Thankfully we have good old fashion letters as well as brief phone calls (usually) once a week in order to stay in touch and remind each other how much we miss the other.  I'm just happy to have our little ones at home to keep me occupied :)

Aren't they the cutest?!  It's not quite the same as having their daddy here, but I'll take what I can get!
